By the way I do know that if Burt Lancaster had kill the captain the movie would have been over. He could have wounded him. Even his fighting skills left slot to be desired. He has always been a good actor and a good looking man. Movie wasn't bad.

Burt Lancaster made made some bad decisions in this movie. Don't understand when he was pretending to be drunk on the road he got up with the gun after the captain kicked him. Did he forgot about the driver . He could have got behind the captain made the driver get out of the car throw away his gun killed him an are both the captain, the driver. Then the captain wouldn't keep popping up. Women had some suskey voices. She showed him a lot of times how much she loved him he didn't until the, end. He still tried to denied it said he bother in to it's one was getting her out.

A excellent movie, thank you for the upload. A brave group of sailors of greatest generation. which we never meet again. From this older Canuck
